What You’ll Do (and Why You’ll Love It)
This isn’t a “watch from the corner” internship. As a paid intern, you’ll jump into an immersive, hands-on experience where you’ll be a real member of our award-winning team.
At WVVA paid interns learn directly from seasoned pros across broadcast and digital operations. You’ll get genuine experience doing the work—because if we do it, you can learn it and earn while you do!
You’ll gain real-world training + mentorship from professionals, a stronger resume and portfolio and pave a true pathway to a full-time career – many of our employees started as interns!

Qualifications/Requirements (including but not limited to)
• Strong work ethics and organizational skills
• Currently earning a degree in Journalism/Communications (or related field)
• Eager to get hands-on experience in the local media industry
