Job Summary/Description:

WSAZ, a media organization, is searching for an Accounting Clerk to perform administrative, clerical, and accounting duties for executive management. The Accounting Clerk will work with the executive team and corporate accounting to ensure proper communication and timely workflow.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Perform light accounting, support office financial activities, and provide clerical/administrative support
- Responsible for administering station accounting duties as prescribed by Shared Services, including accounts receivable/credit and collections, daily traffic log reconciliations, and processing vendor invoices through the company’s accounts payable system
- Responsible for coordinating all station programming schedules and formats with Corporate Programming, HUB Traffic, Nielsen, Comscore, and the station Sales, News, and Master Control operations
- Manage station reporting records on the FCC website and complete annual FCC filings
- Ensure compliance with FCC regulations and applicable governmental agencies
- Assist with planning and execution of station events
- Work closely with corporate Accounting Manager and Program Manager
- Serve as backup to the Office Manager

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Minimum 3+ years of accounting or administrative experience.
- Basic knowledge of accounting concepts and principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills
- A college degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field and broadcast experience are a plus.
- Dependable and able to meet deadlines
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
