WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to today's passage by the House Energy & Commerce Committee on FCC process reform legislation, the following statement may be attributed to NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton:

NAB Show will present a two-day symposium, “NAB Show @ Mobile World Congress: Capturing the Moment Through Mobile and Broadcast," as part of the mPowered Industries program at the 2014 Mobile World Congress. The symposium, sponsored by Ericsson, will be held February 25-26, 2014 in Barcelona.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Three Members of the House of Representatives from Florida have signed on as co-sponsors of a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The Local Radio Freedom Act now has almost 200 total co-sponsors in the House and Senate.
