The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today that it will accept nominations for the 2017 NAB Marconi Radio Awards until May 31. The Marconi Radio Awards recognize overall excellence and performance in radio.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Nine Members of the House of Representatives and one Senator have joined as cosponsors of a bipartisan resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The Local Radio Freedom Act (LRFA) now has 177 cosponsors in the House and 22 in the Senate.
