WASHINGTON, DC -- NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith announced today that veteran television executive April Carty-Sipp will join the organization March 1 as Senior Vice President of Television. In her new role, Carty-Sipp will oversee day-to-day operations of NAB Television and will report to NAB Chief Operating Officer Chris Ornelas.

SPROCKIT, the global community that curates, connects and fosters collaboration between market-ready startups and media, entertainment and technology companies, today announced the first round of startups selected to participate at the 2018 NAB Show. NAB Show is held April 7-12 in Las Vegas.

Broadcast Beat is returning to the annual NAB Show for a third year to produce and host “NAB Show LIVE,” the convention’s official live stream broadcast. NAB Show is held April 7-12 in Las Vegas.
