WASHINGTON, DC -- In response to today's release of omnibus appropriations legislation that includes $1 billion in additional funding for the broadcast spectrum incentive auction repack, the following statement can be attributed to NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith:

House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Greg Walden (R-OR) will discuss current legislation and its potential effect on the broadcast industry with NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith during the 2018 NAB Show Opening. The event will take place Monday, April 9 at 9:00 a.m. in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
NAB Show, the world’s largest annual conference and expo for professionals who create, manage, and distribute entertainment across all platforms, will feature “The VFX Wizardry Behind ‘Stranger Things 2,’” a Creative Master Series panel – produced in collaboration with Adobe – at the 2018 NAB Show.
