WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to the inclusion of provisions related to the expiring Satellite Television Extension and Localism Act Reauthorization in the FY2020 appropriations legislation released today, the following statement can be attributed to NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith:

DeDe Lea, executive vice president of global public policy and government relations at ViacomCBS, has been appointed to the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Television Board of Directors by Television Board Chair Emily Barr in accordance with NAB by-laws.
