WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today that the long-running “Kevin & Bean Morning Show,” which airs on CBS Radio’s KROQ Los Angeles, will be inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame. The induction will occur during the NAB Show Radio Luncheon, held Tuesday, April 14 in Las Vegas and sponsored by ASCAP.

“NAB supports the incentive auction and believes it can be done in a way that benefits broadcasters and broadband providers alike. As a result of the AWS-3 auction, the FCC has a chance to step back and recognize that a successful TV auction is within reach. It can be done without adopting a variable band plan and without cutting corners in ways that harm broadcasters. We will work with the Commission to ensure the auction is done right.”

WASHINGTON, DC -- In response to FCC Commissioner Michael O'Rielly's confirmation by the Senate to a full five-year term, the following statement can be attributed to NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith:

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Marilu Henner, a five-time Golden Globe nominee, New York Times best-selling author and nationally syndicated radio personality, will speak at the NAB Show Radio Luncheon, held Tuesday, April 14 in Las Vegas and sponsored by ASCAP. The NAB Show is the annual conference and expo for professionals who create, manage and distribute entertainment across all platforms.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to the passing of broadcaster Bud Paxon, the following statement can be attributed to NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith:

The National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) announced it is now accepting entries for the 2015 Celebration of Service to America Awards, recognizing outstanding community service by local broadcasters. Winners will be honored at the Celebration of Service to America dinner and awards presentation held Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced it will again present NAB Show Collaborative, a global initiative designed to support and strengthen innovation, growth and opportunity in the digital media and entertainment industry. As part of the initiative, NAB has partnered with leading events around the world to host conferences and sessions for Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, CABSAT in Dubai and SET Expo in São Paulo. In all, NAB will present more than 40 sessions featuring industry leaders and best-in-class educational programming.
