More than 200 companies will exhibit for the first time at the 2014 NAB Show, home to the world's largest gathering of vendors driving the future of media and entertainment. These companies will offer a first-look at new products and next-generation technologies through interactive exhibits, live demonstrations and technology-focused pavilions. NAB Show, held April 5-10 (exhibits open April 7-10) in Las Vegas, is the annual conference and expo for professionals who create, manage and distribute entertainment across all platforms.

WASHINGTON -- In response to the Closed Captioning proceeding at today's FCC's Open Commission Meeting, the following statement can be attributed to NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton:

Federal Communications Commissioners Mignon Clyburn, Michael O'Rielly and Ajit Pai will be featured in the session "Inside the Beltway Style" on Tuesday, April 8 at 2:30 p.m. during the 2014 NAB Show in Las Vegas.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to the release of a report today by the Department of Justice regarding broadcasters' joint sales agreements and shared services agreements, the following statement can be attributed to NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton:

The National Association of Broadcasters announced that radio engineer Jeff Littlejohn of Clear Channel Media and television technology innovator Robert Seidel of CBS have been named the 2014 recipients of the NAB Engineering Achievement Awards. The recipients will be honored at the NAB Show Technology Luncheon on Wednesday, April 9 in Las Vegas.

The National Association of Broadcasters announced the 50 finalists for the 27th Annual Crystal Radio Awards. Since 1987, the NAB Crystal Radio Awards have recognized radio stations for their outstanding year-round commitment to community service. Winners will be announced and the finalists will be honored at the NAB Radio Luncheon. The Luncheon, sponsored by ASCAP, will be held Tuesday, April 8 during the 2014 NAB Show in Las Vegas.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to the announcement by Rep. John Dingell (D-MI) that he will retire at the end of the 113th Congress, the following statement can be attributed to NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith:
