Hughley and author Steve Jones. The session, titled "Tap into Your Star Power and Build Your Brand," is sponsored by Coleman Insights and will be held on September 18 at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando.

NABEF to Host Radio Show Career Fair

The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF), in partnership with the Broadcast Education Association (BEA), will host a Career Fair on September 17 from 1-5:00 p.m. at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando. Held the day before the 2013 Radio Show begins, the Career Fair will provide experienced professionals and entry-level job seekers with the opportunity to network with major radio companies.

Bipartisan Group of Seven Join Coalition Co-Sponsoring Local Radio Freedom Act

WASHINGTON, DC -- A bipartisan group of seven Members of Congress have signed on as co-sponsors of a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The Local Radio Freedom Act is now currently co-sponsored by 159 Members of the House and 11 Senators.

The following sessions at the 2013 Radio Show will be streamed live and archived at www.radioshowweb.com for viewing on demand until the end of the year. Brightcove, Inc. will use its Video Cloud online video platform to support the live and on-demand streaming. On demand sessions will be available following the Radio Show.
