Over 200 First-time Exhibitors Join 2017 NAB Show

More than 200 companies will exhibit for the first time at the 2017 NAB Show, the world’s largest convention encompassing the convergence of media, entertainment and technology. These companies will offer a first-look at new products and technologies through interactive exhibits and demonstrations. NAB Show is held April 22-27 (exhibits 24-27) in Las Vegas.

NASA to Stream First Live 4K Video from Space at the 2017 NAB Show

The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced today it will produce the first-ever live 4K video stream from space during a Super Session at the 2017 NAB Show. “Reaching for the Stars: Connecting to the Future with NASA and Hollywood” will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26 in room N249 of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC).

NAB and NABEF Announce New Resources for Journalists Covering Racially Sensitive Issues

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Association of Broadcasters, in a joint initiative with the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation, today unveiled an online toolkit entitled “Awareness in Reporting” to help journalists and newsrooms develop greater skill in covering race and racially sensitive news stories. The resource was unveiled at a kickoff event this afternoon at the Newseum, which featured panel discussions with journalists and local leaders involved in recent race-related events.

NAB Education Foundation Announces 2017 Service to America Award Winners

The National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) announced today the winners of the 2017 Celebration of Service to America Awards, recognizing outstanding community service by local broadcasters. Winners will be honored at the Celebration of Service to America dinner, held Tuesday, June 20, at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C.
