Josh Pollack Joins NAB as Vice President of Government Relations

WASHINGTON –The National Association of Broadcasters today announced the hiring of Josh Pollack as vice president of NAB Government Relations, effective July 10. Pollack will report to Curtis LeGeyt, NAB executive vice president of Government Relations.

FCC Chairman Ajit Pai to Headline Radio Luncheon at 2017 Radio Show

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Ajit Pai will keynote the Radio Luncheon at the 2017 Radio Show on Wednesday, September 6. The Radio Show, produced by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), will be held September 5-8 at the JW Marriott in Austin, Texas.

Four Representatives Added as Cosponsors of Local Radio Freedom Act

WASHINGTON, DC -- Five Members of the House of Representatives have joined as cosponsors of a bipartisan resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The Local Radio Freedom Act (LRFA) now has 191 cosponsors in the House and 22 in the Senate.
