Bob Pittman and Dan Mason Headline 2014 Radio Show Super Session

The Radio Show, the largest annual event for the radio industry, announced today that Clear Channel Chairman and CEO Bob Pittman and CBS Radio CEO and President Dan Mason will headline the 2014 Radio Show Super Session titled "From the Control Room to the Board Room," to be held September 11 at 9:15 a.m. The Radio Show, produced by the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) and the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), will be held September 10-12 in Indianapolis.

Five Representatives Add Support for Local Radio Freedom Act

WASHINGTON, DC -- A bipartisan coalition of five Members of the House of Representatives have signed on as co-sponsors of a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. With their co-sponsorship, there are 229 Members of the House and 15 Senators who have signed on to support the Local Radio Freedom Act.

Hunter Hayes to Perform at 25th Anniversary NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner and Show

The National Association of Broadcasters today announced that country music artist Hunter Hayes will perform at the 25th NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show, sponsored by iBiquity Digital Corporation, the creators of HD Radio Technology. The event will take place September 11 at the 2014 Radio Show, held September 10-12 in Indianapolis and produced by the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) and NAB.

Advertising Guru Bob Hoffman to Keynote 2014 Radio Show Opening Session

Organizers of the 2014 Radio Show, jointly produced by the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) and the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), announced today that advertising luminary Bob Hoffman will provide the event's keynote address on September 10 at 3:45 p.m. The keynote address, sponsored by vCreative, will follow opening remarks from RAB President and CEO Erica Farber and NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith. The Radio Show will be held September 10-12 in Indianapolis.
