WASHINGTON, DC -- Three Members of the House of Representatives been added as co-sponsors of the Local Radio Freedom Act, a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The resolution now has 173 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives and 13 in the Senate.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to National PrepareAthon! Day, the culmination of the America's PrepareAthon! campaign designed to increase community preparedness and resilience, the following statement can be attributed to NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith:

The resolution now has 173 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives and 15 in the Senate.

The resolution now has 177 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives and 15 in the Senate.

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today that it will accept nominations for the 2015 NAB Marconi Radio Awards until May 29. The Marconi Radio Awards recognize overall excellence in radio.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to the introduction today of bipartisan legislation to grandfather sharing arrangements between local television stations that were operating at the time of the FCC's March 2014 rule banning them, the following statement can be attributed to NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith:

WASHINGTON -- The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today that NAB Radio Board Chairman Don Benson named five appointees to the NAB Radio Board, with the approval of the NAB Joint Board Chairman Charles Warfield.
