WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Television and radio broadcasters are utilizing new digital strategies to execute campaigns across multiple platforms, engage viewers and generate new revenue. Next week at NAB Show in Las Vegas, two conference programs will address this evolution: Digital Think Tank for television on Tuesday, April 8 and the Digital Strategies Exchange for Radio on Wednesday, April 9, both part of the Broadcast Management Conference.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Association of Broadcasters announced today that local radio and TV stations across America have donated airtime valued at over $40.8 million (up from $35.5 million in February) for NAB's "OK2TALK" mental health public service announcement campaign. This includes more than 322,908 TV and radio airings.

WASHINGTON -- In accordance with NAB By-laws, Television Board Chair Marci Burdick has appointed Sinclair Broadcast Group's Rebecca Hanson, Senior Vice President for Strategy and Policy to the TV Board of Directors. She fills the seat previously occupied by Dunia Shive and the appointment is effective immediately.
LAS VEGAS, NV – The National Radio Systems Committee (NRSC) today adopted an updated NRSC Guideline that focuses on recommendations for broadcasters and receiver manufacturers in the use of the Radio Data System (RDS) data broadcasting technology.
LAS VEGAS, NV -- National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) President and CEO Gordon Smith called on federal regulators to develop a National Broadcast Plan during his keynote address at the opening session of NAB Show 2014. Smith called on policymakers to develop a holistic regulatory approach that ensures radio and television broadcasting are not disadvantaged in the marketplace due to government bias towards other forms of media.
