WASHINGTON – In response to CBS and Time Warner Cable having reached a new agreement on retransmission consent fees, the following statement can be attributed to NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton:

The National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) will host the second annual Congressional Golf Classic on Monday, September 30 at Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course at the Club at Creighton Farms.

The Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) and the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today that executives from State Farm® and OMD will participate in a Q&A at the 2013 Radio Show Advertiser Luncheon. State Farm is one of the country's leading broadcast advertisers. The event, sponsored by Katz Media Group, will be held on September 18 at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando.
