News Anchor

WVVA Television, the 2017 WV Broadcasters Association Station of the Year, is looking for a versatile player with leadership experience to join our award-winning team as an evening news anchor.

This position is a senior management position with long-term growth opportunities. 

The ideal candidate is an experienced journalist who can do it all and relishes being a leader.  You’ll work closely with producers and reporters to develop content for multiple newscasts, as well as content for web, mobile, and social media platforms.

The successful candidate has leadership experience as well as reporting and anchoring experience and now wants to connect with the audience on an even greater level.  In addition to anchoring, this position includes some reporting and producing.  The ability to creatively tell a story and file engaging reports is a must.  

WVVA is a Quincy Media, Inc. station.  At Quincy, you’ll be given the individual training and coaching you need to grow your career.  With 18 stations doing news, there are several advancement opportunities within our company.
