In addition to the daily management of the association, she has the responsibility of lobbyist to her duties in representing the interest of radio and television stations across the state. She enjoys her long stint in association work because it allows her to wear many hats and cover many different issues by being responsible for so many areas within one organization. The WVBA provides members with key information in the broadcasting industry, a heavily regulated business where Michele's representation on the state and national levels with government and FCC organizations is vital. The VVVBA offers meetings for continuing educational opportunities in management, sales, motivation, and the like; works with stations and state and national agencies to oversee the Emergency Alert System; and provides college scholarships to interested college bound students. Michele is Past President of West Virginia Society of Association Executives. This position allowed her to work with association leaders to better enhance association management skills and expand working knowledge of meeting planning. VVVSAE members represent thousands of M companies. Michele received a BS is Business Administration with specialization in Marketing from Marshall University in Huntington. She and her daughter Lori currently reside in Charleston.
