News Photographer

WCHS ABC-8 and WVAH FOX-11 have an excellent full-time opportunity for an experienced News Photographer / Editor with a great eye and nose for news!

Your responsibilities include:

• Operating cameras, lights, editors and gathering information in the field

• Setting up and executing live shots

• Collaborating with reporters and producers on stories

Job requirements include:

• Meeting daily deadlines in a high-energy working environment

• One to two years of experience within the field

• Clean driving record

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Available to work all shifts

• Dependability

• Punctuality

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

We use DVC-Pro digital video and Avid NewsCutter XP editing technology. Knowledge of both is a definite plus. BA in Communications or related field is preferred, but not required.
